Gorillas. Chimpanzees. Golden monkeys. You’ll spot them all while you’re trekking through the most beautiful nature, the most beautiful national parks of Uganda. From Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
At the edge of the Albertine rift in South Western Uganda lies the vast and misty Bwindi impenetrable forest which stretches over a formation of steep mountains. This ancient pristine forest is home to families of formidable mountain gorillas that we will encounter within this 9-day adventure. Our expedition will bring us into the homes of energetic chimps in Kibale forest and draw us to the most scenic park in Uganda.

The focus of the Monkey Tour is of course on monkeys. But Uganda has so much more. While you drive back and forth between the parks to spot monkeys, you see the most beautiful landscapes and experience the beautiful, rich Ugandan culture. As far as we are concerned, these are the highlights:
Gorillas – one of the main reasons for many people to come to Uganda. It is a unique experience: together with neighbouring countries Rwanda and Congo, Uganda is the only place in the world where you can still see gorillas in the wild during a gorilla trekking.
Besides the gorillas, you really should n’t miss the chimpanzees . It’s a special experience, especially because they look so much like humans. Their faces, their hands – they are a copy of us. They are curious. They seek contact. Sometimes they sit right across from you and look at you. In addition, the interaction between chimpanzees is very beautiful to see. They play, they groom each other.
A tour lasts as long as you want. The prices depend on the duration of your trip and the size of your group. Are you coming with a group of 5 people? Then you can go on a trip for 11 days for about €3,050 per person. Are you coming with two people? Then you pay about €3,950 per person for an 11-day trip.
